Silent walk

From the Westvestkerk we walk to De Ketelfactory in one long line, in silence. We walk through the historic Lange Haven with draw bridges and many striking and subtle references to the illustrious history of gin in this Distiller’s Town. We then enter De Plantage, the oldest city park in the Netherlands. This unofficial arboretum, besides special trees (such as the offspring of the Anne Frank tree) also comprises many works of art (including the three stones by herman de vries). At the end of the park is the white former milk factory, the home of De Ketelfactory.
